Thanksgiving

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving! Some people call it Turkey Day.
Watch this video and learn more about this holiday. (You'll need headsets to listen.)

How will you celebrate the day? Will you eat turkey, green beans, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie?
I am having 15 people to my house on Thanksgiving. Everyone is contributing different dishes. My menu is below.
Look at this food website to see how to make the traditional foods Americans eat at Thanksgiving.

As you listen and read about the topic of Thanksgiving, take notes. You will use the notes to write a report in class about what you learned.

Establishing, Maintaining and Checking Your Credit

This week, we are focusing on credit. As you have learned, you need to have a good credit rating before you can get a loan to make a major purchase like a car or a house.

Answer the questionnaire about whether you are a good or a bad risk by clicking on the
CREDIT CHECKER and scrolling down to Start the Check.

Next, go to the FTC--Federal Trade Commission site to read about Building a Better Credit Report. Look at Sections 1 --3. Take notes so that you can write a report about what you learned.

Then, go to How to Get a Free Credit Report and click on the video to understand why this site is the only one to use. Learn how to order a free Credit report. Finally, to order your credit report, click here.

After you have done this research, write a report explaining what you learned.
